Kicker Robbie Gould and safety Chris Conte have both been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions at Soldier Field. Gould will miss his third game in a row dealing with a quad injury he suffered in practice. Jay Feely will maintain kicking duties for the third straight week.
Meanwhile, Conte will miss his second game in a row as he deals with a back injury. Rookie safety Brock Vereen is expected to make his second straight start in place of Conte.
Listed as questionable this week for the Bears: guard Kyle Long (hip), defensive tackles Will Sutton (ill), Jeremiah Ratiff (knee) and cornerback Tim Jennings (ankle).
