Since joining the Chicago Bulls in 2016, Robin Lopez has been a fan favorite both on and off the court.
The 7-foot center is the twin brother of Brook Lopez who is a member of the Milwaukee Bucks as both have had successful NBA careers since 2008. But with Robin, his off the court personality has stuck out.
Robin has a long rivalry with mascots in the NBA and it’s a fun history that includes Benny the Bull. Since Lopez joined the Bulls, the two have squashed their beef and have built a friendship that will last forever.
While the Bulls’ season might not be going as planned, Lopez is still having a blast and is the star in the latest short film by the Bulls and BMO Harris Bank that was just released. Lopez plays the role of the Mad Hatter in the short film “Alice in United Center Land”.
This spoof is the first short film of the season for the Bulls and is based on Lopez’s Earl Trey three-point celebration.
This is the third short film that Lopez has starred in since signing with the Bulls. Lopez also appeared in “Beauty and the Bull” and “The Bullchelor” with appearances by every one’s favorite mascot Benny the Bull.
Expect more short films coming soon this season by the Bulls.
