Ryan Hartman was fined 2.3K for slashing Golden Knights defenseman Braydon McNabb in the second period of last nights game.
Chicago’s Ryan Hartman fined $2,320.79, the maximum allowable under the CBA, for slashing Vegas’ Brayden McNabb.

After McNabb hit Schmaltz hard along the boards, Hartman slashed McNabb and tackled him to the ice. Hartman also received a double minor for roughing and slashing.
Hartman has been very good at avoiding penalties like this, however, he wasn’t going to let McNabb get away with a big hit on Schmaltz. Hartman could have handled it a different way, it’s already been handled by the NHL and hopefully both players can move on.
The Blackhawks will be back at it against the Nashville Predators on Friday night.
