After an off day today, the Chicago Cubs will travel to Milwaukee and take on the Brewers. The Cubs and Brewers both have the same record at 13-18 and are 7 games out of first place. If the Cubs keep getting the starting pitching, the offense will come. Especially is they want to make a run at the 1st place St. Louis Cardinals.
Pitching match-ups:
Friday: Matt Garza (2-1) vs. Randy Wolf (2-3) – 7:05 p.m. and it’s on WGN.
Saturday: Chris Volstad (0-4) vs. Shaun Marcum (1-1) – 12:05 p.m. and it’s on FOX.
Sunday: Jeff Samardzija (4-1) vs. Marco Estrada (0-2) – 1:05 p.m. and it’s on WGN.
Let’s hope the Cubs can keep the trend of winning series. The Cubs have won or tied the last 5 series and against good teams … Dodgers. Cardinals, Phillies, Braves and Brewers.
Go, Cubs, Go!
