Patrick Williams
Williams put in the hard work during the offseason and Coach Billy Donovan is giving him a chance as the team’s starting power forward. Some fans may still believe and some are just done with the waiting game. Although it has only been two years since he has been drafted as the fourth pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, Chicago desperately needs Williams to make more of a difference when on the floor and that does not seem to be happening early in the season.
When it comes to trading Williams, there are likely teams out there that would be interested. Chicago would need to ensure they find some young talent or draft picks in return. Williams has yet to show he is a definite starter in this league even though he is one. The franchise appears to be patiently waiting on his progression as he is only 21 years old and missed most of his second year due to injury.
