Jimenez was the big deadline acquisition for the Tribe, so far he is 1-0 with 3.46 ERA covering 2 starts. He has faced the Sox this year going 7 innings surrendering 2 earned runs on 4 hits. Gavin is 2-0 with a 0.61 ERA vs. the Indians this year in 2 starts.
Fausto Carmona RHP (5-12, 5.12) @ Mark Buehrle (10-5, 3.06)
Carmona has been owned by the Sox this year going 0-2 with a 20.25 ERA over 2 starts. And is coming off of an 0-2 stretch. Mark Buehrle has been awesome of late going 2-0 with a 2.05 ERA and has gone 18 straight starts surrendering 3 or less runs. He is 1-0 with a 6 ERA in one game this year against the Indians.
Justin Masterson RHP (9-7, 2.69) @ Phil Humber RHP (8-8, 3.67)
Masterson has gone 1-2 vs the Sox this year but has a 1.23 ERA, something has gone wrong for him. In his career ERA vs the Sox is 2.00 but his record is 2-4, ouch. Humber has a career 18.00 ERA vs the Tribe abd is coming off his worst stretch for the Sox going 0-2 with a 6.35 ERA over his last 3.
