After an off day the White Sox begin a 9 game road trip to the dreaded West-Coast. The first series is against the Seattle Mariners. The Mariners are coming off a series with the Texas Rangers and are bringing up the rear in the AL West. Lead on the offensive side by Ichiro Suzuki. The Mariners are hitting .232 as a team and 2010 Cy Young winner, King Felix on the pitching side.
Game 1
The first game features Phillip (H)umber and Felix Hernandez. Humber is 2-3 with a 3.06 ERA this year and has pitched well for the Sox. Felix Hernandez is 3-2 with a 3.21 ERA with a complete game. Against the Sox in his career Hernandez is 2-3 with a 3.09 ERA but is 2-0 with a 1.74 ERA over his last 3.
Game 2
Saturdays game will pit Gavin Floyd and Doug Fister. Floyd has been very good this season so far going 3-2 with a 4.39 ERA, typically Gavin is really bad this early in the year. Fister is 2-3 with a 2.70 ERA and is 0-1 with a 2.25 ERA over 3 games against the Sox, over his last 3 games Fister is 2-0 with a 1.50 ERA.
Game 3
The final game of the series features Mark Buehrle and Erik Bedard. Buehrle has been a rollercoaster this year but was soild in his last start, surrendering 0 runs in his 6.2 innings, this year he has gone 2-3 with a 4.37 ERA. Bedard is 1-4 with a 5.23 ERA and is 3-2 with a 4.11 ERA over his career vs. the Sox.
