The White Sox were unable to continue their winning streak vs the Beaneaters. The Sox took the first game 3-1 and lost the next two by scores of 10-2 and 5-3. The Hitting was back to dismal levels, with Brent Morel pacing the team going 2/6. The most hits were by Alexei who went 3/11, Adam Dunn managed 2 hits but left 6 on base.
The ‘pen was not good surrendering 8 earned runs over 9.2 innings, the majority tagged to Brian Bruney in game 2. Sergio earned his 22 save in game 1. Gavin Floyd and Mark Buehrle had good starts Gavin’s resulted in win #9 but Buehrle’s was lost by the ‘pen. Humber looked solid through his first 4 but lost it in the 5th inning.
