Game 1 –
Jake Peavy did not disappoint in his first US Cellular start of the year as he went the distance shutting out the Centrals leading team, the Indians. it was a well pitched game on both sides with only one total run for either team. But, thankfully Peavy was a little better. Peavy surrendered 3 hits and walked zero. the Sox managed 5 hits the entire game with the only RBI being an Adam Dunn Sac Fly.
Game 2 –
The Sox completed the 2 game sweep as the bats came alive and Gavin Floyd pitching well. Gavin went 7 strong innings surrendering 1 earned run on 5 hits and 1 walk. Sale pitched a scoreless inning and Tony Pena gave up a homer in his inning. The bats came alive in this game with Quentin, Alexei and Juan getting 2 hits a piece and Quentin added his 9th homer.
