Positives from the game:
*Starlin Castro looks pretty good in the field so far. Let’s hope he keeps it up.
*Josh Vitters has ‘wow’ power. Don’t look at his tone, it’s there.
*Parker, Weathers, Maine did good in their 1 innings of work. If they keep it up, who knows, maybe they’ll make the team.
*Blake DeWitt shows he still wants to make the team, even after being DFA with the 3-run home run.
*I know it was against non-roster invitees, but Kevin Rhoderick who was called up from minor league camped threw great. The best part, for a young kid, he came in and threw strikes.
Negatives from the game:
*LaHair may show he’s only a AAAA player. Not doing good with the bat. Luckily it’s only been 2 games.
*Carrillo just wish his chance of making the team ‘bye-bye’. Got hit way too easy.
*Manny Corpas threw strikes, but got hit too easy against non-roster invitees.
The Cubs will face to Colorado Rockies tomorrow at 2 p.m. central.
