Here is more information:
- The parade will start at 10 a.m. and run on Monroe St. starting at Jefferson St. and going to Michigan Ave.
- The parade will end with a rally at Soldier Field with tickets required.
Several other news sources have confirmed it for Thursday. The last two Stanley Cup parades in the city has seen the team come down Washington St. to Michigan Ave. But both years there were different spots for the rally. In 2013, the rally was held at Grant Park in front of over 2 million people. In 2010 the rally was held at Michigan Avenue near the Chicago River.
There is no word on where the rally will be held this year as Grant Park may not be an option due to the heavy rain the city saw on Monday. The forecast on Thursday calls for a high of 78 with a 60% chance of scattered thunderstorms.
Check back for more information on the route and rally when available.
