After goalie Corey Crawford gave up six goals in a game two loss to the Nashville Predators on Friday night, head coach Joel Quenneville is giving Scott Darling his chance. But unlike the decision after game one, this one wasn’t as easy.

“It’s a tough decision for us,” head coach Joel Quenneville told the media.
Despite it being a tough decision, it was probably the right one for the Blackhawks head coach. In just four periods of playoff hockey, Crawford has given up nine goals. Darling on the other hand has played three full periods and then some allowing zero goals.
Now with the Blackhawks on home ice and a series tied at 1-1, it looks like this will be a day-to-day deal with who will start. If Darling can shine again like he did in game one, the job could fully be his.
Quenneville told the media on Saturday that he will announce the goalie on a game-to-game basis. Goaltender coach Jimmy Waite told Crawford the news and Quenneville will speak to Crawford on Sunday.
