Chicago Cubs shortstop Starlin Castro has had his ups and downs this season, but he’s continue to play in the role Joe Maddon has asked him to play in. Castro has been moved to second base and ever since the move, he’s seemed to play a lot better both offensively and defensively.

Castro also homered in the game to stay hot at the plate. He currently leads all National League players in batting average for the month of September. It’s nice to see that Castro will have a spot on the playoff roster for the Cubs after suffering through some bad years in Chicago.
