Coming into the first round match up Blackhawks fans couldn’t have been more enthusiastic about the playoffs. After Friday night the fans couldn’t have been anymore deflated. After a second period goal by Patrick Kane the Predators countered with a goal by J.P. Dumont and eventually the game winner by Dumont again half way through the third period. The Preds added insult to injury with to empty net goals. The Hawks will need a strong effort from the rookie Anti Niemi who admitted that he was nervous before the game, but also saying that he is nervous before every game. Duncan Keith and the Hawks are looking for their first win of the series on their way to the Stanley Cup Finals.
