The Bulls started the game playing luke-warm on both sides of the floor. After blowing every small lead, and being tied 21 all with 1:34 left in the quarter, Derrick Rose exploded by making plays on both sides of the ball in the quarter. He was on pace to record a quad-double with no turnovers. The Bulls lead 31-21 after one.
