Tate Forcier is no longer apart of the university of Michigan. Denard Robinson is the man for the job in Michigan and Tate isn’t looking to back him up. This leaves the question, where will he go?
There aren’t any early indications as to where he will go but I am sure we will be kept in the loop very soon.
ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Michigan athletic director Dave Brandon says quarterback Tate Forcier is no longer with the program.
Brandon made the announcement during a news conference Wednesday after introducing Brady Hoke as the new coach for college football’s winningest team.
Forcier was academically ineligible to play for the Wolverines in the Gator Bowl. Brandon says he can’t talk about any student’s academic status with the school.
Messages seeking comment were left with Forcier and his father.
Forcier backed up Denard Robinson last season after starting ahead of him when they were both freshmen during the 2009 season. Forcier threw for 2,647 yards with 17 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 20 games.
