Free agent wide receiver Terrell Owens has been offered a contract to play football in Chicago.
It’s just not the team he hoped for. The Chicago Rush announced earlier today, they offered the six time pro-bowl receiver Owens a contract for the upcoming 2012 season.
“It would be a fantastic honor to add Terrell to our current roster for the 2012 season.” said team president Gene Nudo.
It looks like Owens career might be coming to an end. He’s been a free agent all season, and has gained very little if any interest from any NFL team so far.
Owens held a workout on Tuesday, but it’s been reported that no NFL teams were in attendance.
