The Air Jordan XI “Concord” has always been a hyped release when it has dropped over the years and 2018 will be the exact same. The hype started brewing when it was announced that the Black and White Classic colorway was returning in late 2018.
We haven’t received much info outside of a rumored release date and retail price. But on Wednesday, we got a look at some detailing on the shoe and the answer to an important question.
Instagram user zsneakerheadz dropped two photos of the shoe showing that “45” will be on the back of the shoe rather than “23”. Check it out:
The 45 is significant because it’s the number Jordan wore when he returned to the game of basketball in 1995 after leaving for a brief time to play baseball. This model will have the 45 printed on the shoe, rather than stitched.
The Air Jordan XI will feature black patent leather with a white upper and an icy outsole to round off the design. It’s set to release on December 8th with a retail price of $200.
