The Bears open the 2013 season on Sunday.
The Bears have unveiled their official depth chart for the 2013 season. While the list is no surprise for the most part, there are some things to note. While Corey Wootton is listed as the starting left defensive end, word out of Halas Hall is that the Bears are still deciding who will get the start on Sunday.
D.J. Williams is also listed ahead of rookie Jon Bostic at middle linebacker. But Williams is still healing from his calf injury sustained back in July 31st. He has been slowly eased back into practice and it looks like Bostic will more than likely start against Cincinnati.
Kyle Long and Jordan Mills are listed as the starting right guard and right tackle respectively. This pretty much confirms that Marc Trestman and offensive line coach Aaron Kromer have confidence in starting the two rookies.
Earl Bennett {who’s still recovering from a concussion} and Joe Anderson are listed as the third and fourth wide receivers behind Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery. Michael Ford is listed as the backup kick returner to Devin Hester, while Eric Weems is Hester’s backup on punt returns.
The Bears continue preparations at Halas Hall for the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. Kickoff from Solider Field will be at noon on Sunday. Follow me on Twitter @GabeSalgado82
