4. Bears kicker Cairo Santos

In 2023, Santos agreed to a four-year contract extension worth $15.6 million. The Bears would save $2.08 million by cutting Santos and would take on a $2.18 million dead cap charge.
Santos made 84% of his field goals in 2024, which left him tied for 26th-best in the league. He struggled with kicks from 40-49 yards, going 5-of-8. However, he went 8-of-9 from field goal attempts that were 50+ yards.
I’d expect Santos to be back in 2025.
