Losses to the Pittburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens could have been erased if Santos had made instead of missed one of his attempts.
Santos legs helped the Bears defeat the Detroit Lions, Seattle Seahawks, and the Cincinatti Bengals in 2021. Overall, the ninth-year veteran had a good year, making 26 of the 30 field goal kicks he was asked to make for the Bears last season. How Santos performs in pressure situations this year might be the difference between the Bears having a top draft pick or narrowly missing the playoffs.
