As you might have seen in the bottom right corner of our page, we are associated with the Verizon Fans Program. By participating in this program, I’ve been given a Droid Maxx phone to use for blogging and displaying how well it works.
So far, it’s been good.
This phone is definitely one of the best on the market and I recommend it to anyone looking for a new phone. The power on the phone is ridiculous and can last up to 48 hours. It’s hard for mine to last that long because I’ve been using the NFL Mobile app like it’s my job.
The NFL Mobile App gives me the chance to watch LIVE Thursday Night, Sunday Night and Monday Night NFL games from my phone. I can also stream NFL Network through the app anytime I want. If I miss a game and need highlights, the app has me covered.
With the Bears playing the New York Giants on Thursday Night Football, this app will come in handy.
During the program, I’ll be tweeting using hashtags “#VZWvoices #fan” throughout the programs length. So if you see that posted on our Twitter account, that’s the reason.
One cool feature on the Droid Maxx is the phones “mobile hotspot”. Anytime or anywhere I can activate the hotspot and generate wifi for my laptop or others to use. It really comes in handy when I need to fire up my laptop and use a fast internet connection. Did I mention the 4G is really fast? An added bonus as well.
Other apps on the phone such as Twitter, Instagram, ESPN Fantasy Football and ESPN ScoreCenter all work great.
