The Chicago Cubs fell behind early in the game and were staring at their fifth loss in their last six games.
Then they rallied.
Trailing 4-2 to the Milwaukee Brewers late, the Cubs scored one run in the eighth to cut the lead to 4-3. After Jon Jay got on with one out, Miguel Montero followed suite with a single to give runners on the corners with one out.
That’s when the magic happened. Reigning NL MVP Kris Bryant tied the game on a single off Neftali Perez, giving the Cubs new life.

The win moved the Cubs back over the .500 mark at 8-7 as they enter a nine-game road trip beginning with a series in Cincinnati on Friday night.
