Forward Alex DeBrincat scored his first goal with the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday night, beating goalie Carey Price.
The 19-year-old sniped a shot past Price on a feed from Patrick Sharp to tie the game in the first period. Check out this beauty from the rookie:
It’s nice to see DeBrincat get his first career goal on a spectacular goalie like Price. I’m sure this will be the first of many for DeBrincat and hopefully, this will give him more confidence.
Following the game, DeBrincat called the goal a “dream come true” as he described it to reporters in the locker room:
