‘Tis the season for the holidays as we turn the calendar over to December.
With the holiday season here, that means holiday lights! All around the Chicago area, there are awesome light displays in neighborhoods that are worth going out to see. Places in the city including the Lincoln Park Zoo also puts on great light shows to get you in the spirt.
But if you’re a Chicago sports fan, you have to check out this Holiday Light Display.
Located Southwest of Chicago in Spring Valley, Illinois is the Quesse Christmas Light Show put on by Billy and Gracelyn Queese. The couple put together an epic light show with a Chicago Cubs theme in 2016 and now they are back with an 11-minute display paying tribute to almost all major Chicago sports teams.
The show features a clip from the 1996 NBA Finals, the War Chant from the University of Illinois, Chelsea Dagger, Bear Down, Chicago Bears and Go Cubs Go in the show.
Check out this YouTube clip below:
The display is going on from now until Jan 1. 2018 running from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. It’s located at 3 Hidden Grove Lane in Spring Valley, Illinois. For more info check out the official Facebook Page of the light show.
As for White Sox fans, well you’re out of luck.
