After splitting the four-game series with the last place Cincinnati Reds, the Chicago Cubs really needed a series win against the Toronto Blue Jays.
The Cubs took the first two games of the series on Friday and Saturday, going for the sweep on Sunday. They jumped out to a 3-0 lead but Toronto fought back to tie it, then take a 5-3 lead in the top of the tenth.
It seemed as if the Cubs would only get the series win, rather than sweep. That is until they rallied in the bottom of the tenth.
The first two batters got on and then Chicago pulled to within a run. Javier Baez struck out, but reached base as the ball got past the catcher. It was the second time that inning it happened.
And after Jason Heyward was hit by a pitch, it set the scene for Alex Avila to be the hero:

Fresh off a sweep, the Cubs will travel to Cincinnati to take on the Reds in a three-game series.
