David Ross might be retired from MLB but he’s still keeping active. In January, he agreed to a deal to become an analyst for ESPN.
But now he’s facing one of his biggest challenges yet.
Grandpa Rossy made his debut on ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars”, a dancing competition that is in its 24th season. Ross is one of the contestants on the show and is partnered with professional Lindsay Arnold.
Ross and Arnold danced to “Go Cubs Go” as the set started with the catcher hitting a home run:
The two received a seven from all four judges, giving them a 28 out of 40 on their first dance. Fans can vote for Ross/Arnold up to 12 times by visiting the official website of the show.
No pairing was eliminated on the first week but next week the first team will be sent home.
