Ian Happ got the 2018 season started with a bang.
The Chicago Cubs new leadoff man hit a home run on the very first pitch of the 2018 season Thursday afternoon in Miami. It was not only the first pitch of the Cubs-Miami Marlins game but of the entire MLB season.

The Cubs and Marlins are beginning a four-game series to open up the new season. Jon Lester got the start for the Cubs who are looking to win the NL Central Division for the third-straight season.
