Chicago Cubs infielder Javier Baez had a nice weekend series against the Toronto Blue Jays, flashing his leather on a few plays.
Baez is currently at shortstop, filling in for the injured Addison Russell and he’s doing a damn good job.
During Wednesday’s game against the Cincinnati Reds, Baez helped start a double play with a great backhanded pick and then throw to Ben Zobrist.
Just watch as Javy dazzles again:

Just another case of Javy being Javy.
