The Chicago Bulls’ 122-75 pantsing of the Orlando Magic was about as uninteresting a basketball game as could be, even with the Bulls’ playoff lives on the line. But thankfully, Jimmy Butler gave us one incredibly memorable moment.
With the Bulls already up by 24 late in the third quarter, Butler took flight off a lob from Nikola Mirotic and finished the dunk threw contact from former dunk contest runner-up Aaron Gordon. Here’s the play below:

And, naturally, he made the free throw too.
Even when up against incredible athletes like Gordon, who’s capable of stuff like this, Butler repeatedly shows he’s no slouch. And despite his heavy usage, he continues to make game–breaking plays during Bulls’ playoff stretch run.
They’re going to need him to do that for at least more regular season game too. If they win on Wednesday against the lowly Brooklyn Nets—one of the few teams worse than the Magic—they’ll make the playoffs. And without a doubt, Butler’s play will be one of the biggest reasons why.
