The Chicago Blackhawks are in the middle of a long home stand after playing their opener in Prague. With the Blackhawks at the UC, first-round pick Kirby Dach made his debut in front of the home crowd on Sunday and is hoping to be a key part of the rotation moving forward.
On Tuesday, Dach officially got on the score sheet with his first career goal in the first period vs. Las Vegas:
At just 18 years old, Dach is now the sixth youngest Blackhawk to score a goal in franchise history. His teammate Patrick Kane is eighth on the list.
Dach’s goal wouldn’t hold up as the Golden Knights were able to get a late goal with the extra attacker.
