After a disappointing loss on Monday that snapped the Chicago Cubs’ 7-game win streak, they got some heroics to avoid a losing-streak on Tuesday night. Those heroics came in the form of a walk-off home run by Kris Bryant.
Watch as Bryant hits a 1-2 pitch with 2 outs in the bottom of the ninth into the left-center bleachers to give the Cubs a 5-2 walk-off win over Miami:
Bryant has now homered in three-straight games for the Cubs, hitting a grand slam on Sunday night and then one in the ninth on Monday to cut the lead to one.
After a slow start, Bryant is starting to heat up which is a good sign for the Cubs as they are now a half game up in the NL Central. Oh, and the Did Kris Bryant HR Twitter account is finally getting some consistent work:
The Cubs and Marlins continue their four-game series with another night game on Wednesday.
