The Chicago Bears have jumped all over the Green Bay Packers in the first half, leading the game 17-0 at halftime behind a dominant defensive performance.
Chicago’s offense has looked good, marching the down the field to score a touchdown on their opening drive. But it’s been the defense that has really been impressive. Outside linebacker Khalil Mack has a sack, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and an interception for a touchdown in just his first game with the Bears after being acquired just 8 days ago.
While he didn’t start the game, rookie linebacker Roquan Smith saw his first NFL action on Sunday night. Smith entered the game when Danny Trevathan suffered a head injury and he made an impact right away.
Watch as Smith records a sack on his very first play of his NFL career:

The Bears currently lead 17-0 at halftime with Packers starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers leaving the game in the first half.
