A division rival in the Minnesota Vikings, could be very close to landing Redskins Quarterback Donovan McNabb.
Reports are coming out that the Vikings and Redskins are negotiating a trade for the veteran QB in exchange for a pair of 6th round picks.
A once highly sought out Quarterback is now being traded to Minnesota, after being benched for Rex Grossman.
Who saw that one coming?
Reports surfaced Tuesday night that the Washington Redskins had agreed to send quarterback Donovan McNabb to the Minnesota Vikings for a pair of sixth-round draft picks – one in 2012 and potentially one in 2013.
The second sixth-round pick would be based on McNabb’s performance this season, according to FOXSports.com’s Jay Glazer.
In McNabb, the Vikings would land the veteran quarterback they’d like to serve as a mentor to first-round pick Christian Ponder.
One significant matter to address before the trade can be finalized will be the $10 million option bonus McNabb is due in September that will have to be renegotiated.
