Raise your hand if you had Addison Russell hitting a home run before phenom Kris Bryant. Okay, the one person put it down.
That’s exactly what happened at Wrigley Field during Friday’s 1-0 win over the Milwaukee Brewers. That one run came from Russell who hit a solo home run in the third inning. Russell has struggled since being called up on April 21, but this could help him get on track as he finds himself batting low in the batting order.

Jon Lester would go on to throw seven scoreless innings and earning his first win as a member of the Cubs. The Cubs moved to 13-8 on the season.
