The Chicago Bears have benched Jay Cutler and will start Jimmy Clausen at quarterback Sunday vs. the Lions according to a report by Adam Schefter.
Jay Cutler had started all 14 games this season for the first time since 2009. This move comes as a shock to many outside of the organization and raises many questions about job security at Halas Hall. It also could mean the end of Cutler in Chicago. It’s expected that the team will look to trade him in the off-season or possibly release him and take the cap hit.
