The Chicago White Sox claimed J.B. Shuck off waivers from the Cleveland Indians on Monday night.
The 27-year old outfielder was hitting .320 with nine triples and honing in five home runs with 57 RBI and 64 runs scored in 102 games with the AAA Salt Lake Bees team.
Shuck led all American League rookies in 2013 while with the Los Angeles Angels. He had 39 RBIs and 60 runs scored that season, finishing fifth in AL rookie of the year voting.
