The Gordon Beckham era is over.
The Chicago White Sox have traded the second baseman to the Los Angeles Angels for a player to be named later or cash considerations. Beckham had a promising rookie year but his production slowed down as his career went on. He was hitting .221 with seven home runs and 36 RBI this season.
