Stewart Called Up
The White Sox called up newly acquired RHP Zack Stewart after one AAA start. in that start for AAA Charlotte he went 6 innings surrendering 3 runs. This year for the Blue Jays Stewart started in AA going 5-5 with a 4.20 ERA over 16 starts.
He was called upon to start as Peavy was pushed back a day. To make room on the roster, RHP Brian Bruney was designated for assignment.
