The Chicago Bears have been keeping an eye on LSU offensive lineman Will Campbell ahead of the 2025 draft. Campbell appears to be a player on the Bears’ shortlist of players they’d select with the No. 10 pick should he fall that far.
Campbell is projected to be the best offensive lineman in the 2025 class. However, much has been made about his arm size. Campbell’s arm measurement was at 32⅝ inches by the scouting combine in February but they grew to 33 inches by LSU’s pro day on March 26 somehow.
The ideal arm size for a left tackle in the NFL is approximately 34.6 inches. Maybe given Campbell’s sudden growth spurt this spring, he has a chance to reach 34.6 inches by Week 1.
Chicago Bears: Will Campbell’s arm size is not a problem

Last week, Bears offensive line coach Dan Roushar told reporters he didn’t think Campbell’s arm side would be a problem in the NFL.
“The measureable’s the measurable, but when the film goes on, you don’t see short arms,” Roushar said via Lorin Cox of Sports Illustrated. “You see a very accomplished left tackle that has exceptional balance, has exceptional hand placement, he knows how to use these tools that he’s given, and he’s done it at a high level from early in his career to today.”
The Bears made Campbell a promise

Per Jason Lieser of the Chicago Sun-Times, Campbell confirmed the Bears believe he’d made a great left tackle. Chicago promised him that position if they select him on Thursday.

“If” is the key word. Campbell could very well be taken by the New England Patriots at No. 4 or the Las Vegas Raiders at No. 6.
If Campbell falls to No. 10, the Bears should select him over any other prospect in the draft. Worst case scenario, he doesn’t work out at left tackle, and Chicago has a long-term solution at guard when they inevitably move on from veterans Jonah Jackson and Joe Thuney.
