The Southsiders have continued their very active off-season. The White Sox have signed former Cub Will Ohman, pending a physical, to a 2 year deal worth 4 million. Ohman, a lefty, spent 2010 between the Orioles and Marlins.
The southpaw was 0-2 with a 3.21 ERA surrendering 40 hits over his 42 IP and amassed a 9.2 K/9IP Ratio. 53% of his at bats were vs. Lefties who hit .229.
Ohman primarily features a low 90’s fast ball and a low 80’s slider and will be used as a LOOGY in Ozzie Guillen’s ‘pen.
