With the rumors swirling about Ndamukong Suh wanting out of Detroit, the Bears could have a key piece to be a player in the Suh sweepstakes if it happens.
When asked on the “Carmen & Jurko” show Tuesday, Bears defensive lineman Willie Young said he could make a recruiting call to Suh if it comes to that.
Young was quoted as saying:
“I could see myself doing that. It just depends on, obviously, it’s gonna come down to a business standpoint for him in particular,” Young said. “But at the end of the day, we’ve got some good guys here right now. He could come and join me. He could come and join what we’re about to build over here in Chicago. We would appreciate it. We would like to have him.”
It was reported by Adam Schefter that Suh has talked about playing in New York and Chicago as well as Dallas are also in the mix. Suh will be a free agent at season’s end and the Lions chances of keeping him are not sounding good so far.
Should the Bears make a run at Suh if he wants out of Detroit?
