Zac Robinson is scheduled to speak with the Bears about their offensive coordinator vacancy.
Less than a week after the Rams’ season concluded, Zac Robinson has already been contacted by two teams to discuss offensive coordinator duties this offseason, solidifying his position as one of the top candidates.
According to Albert Breer, the Bears have asked to interview Robinson for their OC position in addition to the Saints, and they will meet with him on Thursday.

The Chicago Bears search continues on with Zac Robinson
The Bears fired Luke Getsy at the end of the season, and their new offensive coordinator will most likely be working with Justin Fields or a quarterback drafted first overall in April.
Six of the eight candidates—San Francisco 49ers passing game coordinator Klint Kubiak, Kentucky offensive coordinator Liam Coen, quarterbacks coach Greg Olson of the Seahawks, offensive coordinator Thomas Brown of the Carolina Panthers, and Robinson—are either members of or have experience with the Shanahan-McVay tree.
Zac Robinson joined Sean McVay’s Los Angeles staff in 2019 as an assistant quarterbacks coach, and he spent 2020 working with wide receivers before returning to his current position. Robinson was drafted as a quarterback in the seventh round by the Patriots in 2010 and spent four years in the league without appearing in any regular-season games.
This would be Robinson’s first offensive coordinator position. He will also reportedly interview for the New Orleans Saints’ open offensive coordinator position.
