The Chicago Cubs were finally able to win a close game, beating the Cincinnati Reds 4-3 in the second game of the series. Alfonso Soriano and Kosuke Fukudome helped the Cubs’ cause by hitting HR’s, Fukudome’s a two-run shot. Jeff Baker hit a solo shot and that ended up being the winning run for Chicago. Cubs pitcher Carlos Zambrano won his first game on the young season, and the Cubs improve to 2-3, while the Reds drop to 3-2.
